Margaret Brouwer's Pulse for wind symphony received its world premiere March 2014 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the Southwest Regional Conference of the College Band Directors Association. Dr. Caroline Beatty, director of the Texas State Wind Symphony, commissioned Ms. Brouwer to compose this work for her ensemble, which will performed the premiere.
